Free medical treatment for 1,400 Cambodian patients

Phnom Penh, (VNA) - A group of army doctors from Military Zone 7 and the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Chapter gave free medical treatment to 1,367 patients in Cambodia's Kampong Cham province from April 24-28.
The Vietnamese physicians mainly dealt with eye, obstetrical and respiratory diseases. They performed eye surgery on 193 cataract patients.
During the treatment tour, the delegation also presented gifts to 600 poor patients in Kampon Cham province and raised more than 2 million VND to help two child patients get treatment at hospital. The medicine and gifts for the Cambodian patients cost nearly 500 million VND.-Enditem
