National conference centre project must be exemplary in quality

Ha Noi (VNA) - Prime Minister Phan Van Khai has urged worker at the construction site of the national conference centre project to complete the project on schedule on Sep. 30 in order to service the APEC conference programmed for Ha Noi in November, and ensure its high quality. The conference centre must be an exemplary project in terms of quality, the PM said during his visit to the construction site on June 25. He praised the Ministry of Construction, the Project Management Board and working units for their great efforts to ensure the compeletion of the construction project on schedule. He asked them to ensure safety and to prevent losses and wastefulness during the construction. According to the management board, the main work has almost been completed. The installation of electric systems, air-conditioners, fire extinguishing systems and information networks will be completed later this month and will then be checked and handed over in July. The construction of surrounding facilities including roads, lakes and bridges has almost been completed with 70 percent of the green trees having been planted.-Enditem
