Antibiotics plant opens in Ha Noi

Ha Noi (VNA) -- The country's first international standard plant manufacturing administered antibiotics was inaugurated on June 24 in Ha Noi's outlying Soc Son District. The 3.5 million USD joint venture between the Central Pharmaceutical Co. No. 1 (CPC1) and a Chinese pharmaceutical firm will produce 50-100 million doses of antibiotics per year. CPC1 director Hoang Huu Doan said the plant would produce not only traditional but also new generation antibiotics for export.-Enditem
