05/07/2006 -- 10:18 PM

Ha Noi (VNA) - The Minister for Cooperation and Development of the Netherlands, Agnes van Ardene, and her entourage visited Dutch-funded healthcare establishments in the central province of Quang Tri on July 5.
Over the past four years, the Netherlands, via the Netherlands-Viet Nam Health Committee, has helped Quang Tri to improve its health sector and overcome the aftermath of the wars.
The committee has provided a sum of 400 - 500 million VND (25,000 - over 31,000 USD) a year for the province's hospital which was partly formed from a hospital that the Netherlands helped build in 1973.
It also assisted the province in building a health college worth three billion VND (187,500 USD), and a school headquarters at a total cost of 900 million VND (56,250 USD).-Enditem
