First distance ophthalmological consultation centre inaugurated

Ha Noi (VNA) - The Ha Noi-based Central Eye Hospital officially put into operation a centre for distance ophthalmological consultation on July 18. The centre, the first of its kind in Viet Nam, is part of a project funded by ORBIS International, aiming to improve the professionalism of the hospital's doctors. The centre, including an operating ward and a distance consultation room, is equipped with modern equipment and a high-speed Internet connected computer. It is expected to facilitate the consultation of complicated cases between the hospital's doctors and foreign experts from ORBIS International's CyberSight network.-Enditem
