Northern central expects to capitalise on IT development

Ha Noi (VNA) - Information technology experts will work together on ways to boost IT application in service of socio-economic development in the northern central provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh from now through 2010. They will meet in a seminar scheduled to take place in Thanh Hoa province on August 10-11, said the Viet Nam IT Association, which will coordinate with the National Steering Committee for IT application, the Ministry of Post and Telematics, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Thanh Hoa provincial people's committee in organising the event. A series of activities will also take place on the sidelines of the seminar, the Viet Nam IT Association added. They include exhibitions highlighting IT advances, talks on initiatives on integrated cooperation for IT development among the three provinces, and discussions to improve the State management over post and telecommunications operations and IT application at the localities.-Enditem
