Viet Nam to host first regional U17 football tournament

Ha Noi (VNA) - Viet Nam will host the first-ever Southeast Asian U17 Football Championships from August 12-16. The championships will see the participation of four teams from Laos, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Viet Nam. The tournament, which will be organised at the Thien Truong Stadium in the northern province of Nam Dinh, will offer the opportunity for the teams to prepare for the Asian U17 Championships scheduled for September 2006 in Singapore.-Enditem
