Exhibition on Holland's education opens in Ha Noi

Ha Noi (VNA) - An exhibition on the Netherlands' education opened in Ha Noi on Sept. 19, introducing nearly 1,200 study programmes at tertiary and post-graduate levels to Vietnamese students and their parents.

The exhibition which was organised by the Netherlands Education Support Office (NESO) in Ha Noi drew the participation of 15 Dutch universities, including those from Amsterdam and Maastricht.

Vietnamese students who score 5.5 at the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test are eligible to apply for studying at universities in Holland.

The Netherlands will continue to provide more study opportunities for Vietnamese students, Ambassador Andre Haspels said at the opening.

The Netherlands government has provided scholarships for Vietnamese students through DELTA, HUYGENS, and NFP programmes. As many as 900 Vietnamese students are studying in Holland.

The exhibition will also be organised in Da Nang city, Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho province during September.-Enditem
