Taiwanese-invested plant inaugurated in Binh Duong

Binh Duong (VNA) - A Taiwanese-wholly invested factory was inaugurated in the Dai Dang industrial park of the Binh Duong industry-service-urban complex on Oct. 25. The JINFUYU plant, capitalised at more than 5 million USD, produces medical comforters used to prevent infectious diseases, especially the H5N1avian influenza epidemic. It was designed to have an initial capacity of 150,000 products per year to meet the increasing demand of both local and foreign health sectors. JINFUYU is the first plant operational at the Binh Duong industry-service-urban complex. The 4,200 ha plant employs more than 300 local residents. The complex has so far been home to tens of licensed local and foreign-invested projects, including a Singapore-invested project to build a depot for the Mapletree group at a cost of 100 million USD.-Enditem
