Tech centre to be built in Ho Chi Minh City

HCM City (VNA) - The Ministry of Science and Technology said it will cooperate with Ho Chi Minh City municipal authorities to build a technology trade centre in district 11. The centre will serve the southern region as a market for the sale of new technology. Construction of the centre is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2009. The facility will include the main trading area as well as an e-library and a department focusing on the popularisation of science and technology. Once operational, the centre is expected to generate about 625,000 USD a year for the State budget.-Enditem
