Vientiane (VNA) - The Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) has provided a financial assistance for the construction and improvement of five rural roads in Vientiane province.

The grant, worth about 300,000 USD, will be spent on the construction of roads in districts namely Sanakham, Hinheup, Thoulakhom, Phonhong and Saysomboun, the Lao news agency (KPL) reported on Feb. 26.

All roads are under construction and improvement, KPL said, adding that they are expected to be complete by the end of June.-Enditem
