Ha Tay builds 2.1 billion VND ward for HIV/AIDS patients

Ha Tay (VNA) - The General Hospital of northern Ha Tay province has inaugurated a 21-room ward exclusively for HIV/AIDS patients. Built at a cost of 2.1 billion VND (roughly 131,000 USD), the ward is expected to facilitate the conducting of tests and treatment for HIV/AIDS carriers in the locality. Since the beginning of 2006, the Ha Tay hospital has provided treatment for nearly 150 HIV/AIDS inpatients and more than 200 other outpatients of the deadly disease.-Enditem
