Swiss charity helps conduct surgeries on disabled people

Quang Tri (VNA) - A Swiss charitable organisation will grant 600-700 million VND to provide surgical operations on more than 150 disabled people in central Quang Tri province in 2007 to help them integrate into the community. The sum will be used to pay for treatment, medicines, accommodation and travel for these beneficiaries. The provincial association in support of disabled people and orphans is now completing procedures to bring 40 first patients with limb deformities, cleft palates and buboes to the Da Nang Rehabilitation Centre for treatment.-Enditem
