Thailand to remove neutral military officers

Bangkok (VNA) – Thai Defence Minister Boonrawd Somtas on Feb. 26 warned that those military officers who are politically neutral and inefficient will be removed.

The removal will be publicised in mid March and will come into effect as early as April, the minister said.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Commander of the Thai Military Boonsang said that he will send a list of military officers to be removed to Minister Boonrawd Somtas on Feb. 27 and then submit it to Prime Minister Surayud Chulamont.-Enditem
