Lam Dong (VNA) - Many Vietnamese entrepreneurs were introduced to South Africa's economic development, as well as its economic and commercial potentials at a seminar held in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong on Mar. 19.

The event particularly highlighted prospects for expanding economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries, as well as procedures for local businesses to open representative offices in South Africa.

According to Calvin Tshidavhu, first Secretary of the South African Embassy in Viet Nam, the seminar aimed to help Vietnamese businesses tap the opportunities to do business in South Africa and thus boost the bilateral economic cooperation between the two countries in the coming years.

The event was co-hosted by the South African Embassy in Viet Nam, the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the local People's Committe.-Enditem
