Ha Noi (VNA) - The National Assembly Standing Committee is calling for public comment on the draft personal income tax law before finalising the version of the law which will be submitted to the full National Assembly later this year for approval.

Gathering opinions from individuals, organisations and sectors on the draft law was necessary and meaningful to boosting the people’s sense of being vested in the process and the law as eventually passed, the committee said in making the call for public comment.

Collecting ideas from the public would also ensure the feasibility and effectiveness of the law and would also educate people in State policies on finance, especially on taxation, boosting people’s awareness and a sense of shared responsibility.
