Chief of US Naval Operations visits Viet Nam

Ha Noi (VNA) - A delegation from US Navy, led by Admiral Michael Gleen Mullen, Chief of Naval Operations, paid a visit to Viet Nam from June 19-21. While in Viet Nam, Admiral Mullen and his delegation visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and called on Senior Lieutenant-General Nguyen Huy Hieu, Deputy Defence Minister, and Vu Dung, Deputy Foreign Minister. The delegation worked with the Viet Nam Navy High Command and called at the Marine Police Department, the Viet Nam Maritime University and several historical sites in Ha Noi.-Enditem
