Ambassador receives Cuba’s friendship medal

Havana (VNA) – Vietnamese Ambassador to Cuba Pham Tien Tu has been honoured for his contributions to the friendship and cooperation between the two countries during his five-year term of office.

Cuba’s Friendship Medal was granted to him by Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque on July 11.

Addressing the presentation ceremony, Deputy FM Marcos Rodriguez extolled the Ambassador’s role and contributions to the development of the bilateral relations.

Highlighting the Vietnamese people’s national development cause and contributions to the international community, the Cuban official also expressed his pride in the close cooperation between the two countries.

For his part, Ambassador Tu thanked the Cuban Party, State and Government for helping him complete his mission in Cuba.-Enditem
