Cao Dai Church holds third congress

HCM City (VNA) – The Cao Dai Correct Path Church organised its third congress for the 2007-2012 term at the Ben Tre Holly See in southern Ben Tre province, on August 26-27. More than 400 dignitaries and representatives of the High Council, Popular Council and the Church Executive Council, and thousands of practitioners from 26 cities and provinces flocked to the event. Representatives from other faiths such as Buddhism, Catholicism and Protestantism were also present. The congress reviewed a report on the religious activities of the second congress (2002-07), discussed the plan of actions for the next five years, and voted on members of the Executive Council.-Enditem
