HCM City raises money for disaster victims

HCM City (VNA) – Ho Chi Minh City’s Fatherland Front Committee has so far received over 7.2 billion VND (450,000 USD) and 13 tonnes of goods from organisations and individuals in support of victims of natural disasters in central and Central Highlands regions. The city has sent 2.3 billion VND and nearly 9 tonnes of goods to the storm-hit provinces of Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Dak Lak, Kon Tum and Lam Dong. The city’s fund-raising campaign will last until September 10.-Enditem
