Quang Nam’s new hydropower plant gets launched

Quang Nam (VNA) – The Song Ba Joint Stock Company on August 29 put into operation the Khe Dien Hydropower Plant in the central province of Quang Nam after two years of construction. Located in Que Son district’s Que Ninh commune, the plant, which cost 202 billion VND (12.6 million USD) to build, is designed to have an annual capacity of 9MW. As the first small- and medium-sized hydropower plant operated in the province for commercial purposes, the plant turns out a monthly output of 4.6 million kWh, earning 30 billion VND (nearly 1.9 million USD) per year.-Enditem
