Delayed projects in Phu Quoc revoked licenses

Kien Giang (VNA) - The Kien Giang Province People’s Committee will revoke the licenses of projects in Phu Quoc Island that do not have legitimate reasons for delay, the province chairman committee Bui Ngoc Suong said.

Investors have registered to invest in more than 200 projects worth a total of 60 trillion VND (3.75 billion USD) in Phu Quoc Island.

The Mekong Delta province has issued licienses for 14 investment projects with total registered capital of 2.5 trillion (156 million USD).

Of the 14 projects, only one project is now operating and the remaining projects are under construction but schedule.-Enditem
