72 innovations awarded at Techmart Vietnam 2007

Da Nang (VNA) – Seventy-two hi-tech innovations have won Viet Nam Equipment and Technology Fair (Techmart Vietnam) 2007 Golden Cup. The winners were chosen from 166 entries. The fields of mechanical engineering, automation, information technology, agro-fisheries, medicine-pharmaceuticals and environmental technology made up the bulk of the entries. The Ministry of Science and Technology took the occasion to hand over certificates of merit to 29 businesses and individuals, including 12 farmers and students, for their initiative products that were displayed at Techmart 2007. Almost 400 local and foreign companies showcased more than 2,000 products at the Techmart Vietnam 2007, which drew more than 100,000 visitors. A total of 235 contracts, worth almost 700 billion VND (43.7 million USD), were signed at the event.-Enditem
