Mixed trends for country’s bourses

HCM City (VNA)- The Ho Chi Minh City stock exchange dipped slightly on Sept. 10, as its VN-Index closed 6.99 points down to finish at 927.14 points.

51 stocks rose up, 23 others remained unchanged and 41 were down on the day.

Royal International Co. (RIC), Vien Lien Joint Stock Company (UNI), Chau Thoi Concrete Corporation No. 620 (BT6) and Sea & Air Freight International (SFI) were the top five gainers while Binh Dinh Minerals Joint Stock Company (DMC), Tay Ninh Cable Tour Company (TCT), Ha Noi P&T Construction and Installation Joint Stock Company (HAS) and Binh Minh Plastics Joint Stock Company (BMP) were the biggest five losers.

6.2 million shares were traded at a total value of 474 billion VND on the floor of the nation’s largest bourse.

In the capital, the Ha Noi securities trading centre kicked off the new week with huge gains by low-value stocks such as TBC, NLC, VTV and TLC.

The HaSTC-Index climbed down 0.18 points to finish at 256.85 with over 1.6 million shares traded at a cost of 136 billion VND.-Enditem
