Ha Noi (VNA) – Representatives from ASEAN member countries will gather in Ha Noi on October 15-16 for the ASEAN Capital Business Forum (ACBF) to deal with businesses’ difficulties after joining the free trade area.

The event will be organised by the Ha Noi Business Association for the first time and aims to create opportunities for ASEAN entrepreneurs to learn about partners’ potential and policies to attract greater investment in Viet Nam, particularly the capital city of Ha Noi.

ACBF is expected to help boost cooperation within ASEAN and promote the position of the ASEAN business community in the global economy.

The forum will focus on issues relating to the ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA), retail markets, securities finance and real estate.

During the forum, outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs from ASEAN will be presented with “Golden Cup” awards.

The forum will be held annually and rotate amongst ASEAN capital cities.-Enditem
