First Viet Nam-Mexico footwear workshop organised

Mexico (VNA) – A workshop on direct footwear exports between Viet Nam and Mexico was held for the first time in Mexico city on Sept. 11. Truong Duc Quang, Deputy Head of the Import-Export Department under the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade was among those attended the workshop. At the workshop, footwear businesses from both countries exchanged opinions and seek partners with a view to increasing their bilateral trade value, which is now standing at 300 million USD per year. Viet Nam will boost the export of footwear, garment, aquatic products, electric and electronic products, sports instrument and coal to Mexico while importing cotton, footwear materials, steel and computer sets and spare parts from Mexico.-Enditem
