Businesses urged to minimise waste

Ha Noi (VNA) – A seminar in Ha Noi on September 12 focused on helping Vietnamese businesses to reduce their spending during production in a bid to increase competitiveness. The seminar, held by the Productivity Centre of the Directorate for Standard, Measurement and Quality (STAMEQ), introduced a system of tools and methods to slash waste spending during the manufacturing process. The system is keyed to the industries of wood processing, textile-garment, electronics, and automobile assembly.-Enditem
