PM invites Russian businesses to Viet Nam

Moscow (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung took the floor at a Viet Nam-Russia business forum in Moscow on Sept. 12 to call on Russian investors to look to Viet Nam and stressed that Viet Nam considers the success of foreign investors in Viet Nam as a success of the country at large.

The forum provided a lucrative venue for businesses from both countries as contracts worth more than 1 billion USD have been written into the books.

Projects of note include a real estate deal worth 400 million USD, shopping centres worth 200 million USD, a seafood processing plant valued at 150 million USD and a turbine production joint-venture worth 150 million USD.

On the same day, PM Dung called at Russian national gas corporation Gazprom, food company Future Group and met with a number of representatives from leading Russian businesses.

Earlier, PM Dung received a delegation from the Russia-Viet Nam Friendship Association, headed by Chairman Vladimir Buianov. The PM spoke highly of the association’s initiatives and expressed his hope that the association will continue contributing to the development of the Viet Nam-Russia relationship in the future.-Enditem
