Viet Nam goes green with wind farm

Binh Dinh (VNA) – Work began on the construction of a wind farm in the Nhon Hoi Industrial Zone in southern Binh Dinh province on September 12. The 140 ha Phong Dien 3 plant is being built by the Central Wind Power Joint Stock Company at an estimated cost of more than 35.7 million USD. The plant is scheduled to be put into operation by late 2008 and should generate 55 million kWh electricity each year to contribute to the national grid.-Enditem
