Aircraft leasing firm to operate next week

Ha Noi (VNA) – An aircraft leasing joint stock company, the first of its kind in Viet Nam, with a charter capital of 200 million USD is expected to be operational next week, according to one of its four founding shareholders BIDV. The company is jointly founded by the Bank for Investment and Development of Viet Nam (BIDV), the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines, the Viet Nam Oil and Gas Corporation (PetroVietnam) and the Viet Nam Post and Telecommunication Group (VNPT). In the immediate future, the company will purchase four medium-range Boeing 787s for Vietnam Airlines to lease.-Enditem
