Dong Nai: 6 projects get licence in one day

Dong Nai (VNA) – Authorities of southern Dong Nam province on September 14 granted investment licences to 6 projects, both by local and foreign investors, with a total investment capital of more than 340 million USD. The Viet Nam Scharffiler Ltd. Co will invest 116.7 million USD in Amata industrial zone, the Viet Nam YGS Ltd. Co will pour 45 million USD in Nhon Trach 2 industrial zone and the Viet Nam Amata Joint Venture will build a 16.9 million USD commercial and residential area. The province has so far this year granted licences to 75 new projects with a total registered capital of 644.7 million USD. 67 other projects were allowed to add more than 336 million USD to their capital. The figure brings the total foreign direct investment (FDI) in Dong Nai to nearly 1 billion USD since the beginning of this year. To date, the total number of licensed FDI projects in Dong Nai amounted to 838 with a total registered capital of close to 10 billion USD.-Enditem
