Exhibition spotlights ICT in financial services

Ha Noi (VNA) – The 4th Vietnam ICT in Finance 2007 exhibition-cum-conference themed “ICT for Financial Services” opened in Ha Noi on September 19. Dang Duc Mai, Head of the Department of Financial Informatics and Statistics under the Ministry of Finance, emphasised the need to accelerate the application of information technology into financial systems for the pace of international economic integration to be quickened. During the two-day event, ICT firms both at home and abroad, including HP, FPT, Juniper, Networks, M. TECH, Santak and Misoft, will introduce their latest products and solutions for financial service industries. The 3rd Chief Information Officer (CIO) Conference & Awards will also be held within the framework of Vietnam ICT in Finance 2007, which was co-organised by the Department of Financial Informatics and Statistics and the International Data Group (IDG).-Enditem
