Ca Mau constructs plank facility

Ca Mau (VNA) – The southernmost province of Ca Mau, in coordination with Sai Gon - Binh Dinh Paper JSC, began construction of a plank-making factory at the Khanh An Industrial Zone in U Minh District. The 200 million USD factory is capable of producing 400,000 cu.m of laminated planks a year. The facility will also generate thousands of jobs. Under the agreement signed between the province and the corporation, Ca Mau province would hand over 120 ha and provide local workers to as well as grow the cajuputs and eucalyptus trees to feed the factory. Sai Gon-Binh Dinh Paper Corporaiton would be responsible for the project’s capital, production techniques and sales.-Enditem
