15/10/2007 -- 8:24 PM

Ha Noi (VNA) - Vice National Assembly Chairman Uong Chu Luu affirmed the need to promote cooperation and experience exchange between the Vietnamese and Chinese national assemblies as Viet Nam is actively integrating in the international economy and intensifying judicial reform.

Vice Chairman Luu made the remark on October 15 while receiving a visiting delegation from the Internal and Judicial Affairs Committee of the Chinese National People's Congress (NPC), led by its vice chairman Zhu Mingshan.

The judicial committee of the two national assemblies should work out concrete plans on cooperation and mutual assistance to contribute to the development of the two countries' ties, he said.

Zhu Mingshan told Vice Chairman Luu that during his delegation's talks and meetings with Vietnamese relevant agencies, the two sides were eager to promote the exchange and mutual assistance.

During his visit to Viet Nam between October 13-17, Zhu Mingshan held talks with Chairwoman of the Vietnamese NA Judicial Committee Le Thi Thu Ba, worked with leaders of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Justice and the People's Supreme Procuracy.-Enditem
