Party General Secretary sets off for DPRK

Ha Noi (VNA) - General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) Nong Duc Manh left Ha Noi on Oct. 16 for an official visit to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). The Party leader, who is guest of Kim Jong-Il, Secretary General of the Korean Workers’ Party and Chairman of the State Council of Defence, is accompanied by Pham Gia Khiem, CPV Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, and many other senior Party and Government officials.--Enditem
