Tourism sector targets 4.5 billion USD in revenues

Ha Noi (VNA) – Viet Nam has set targets of welcoming 5.5-6 million foreign tourists and 25 million domestic visitors to earn revenues of 4-4.5 billion USD by 2010. The targets were set in the sector’s 2007-2012 action programme recently approved by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. To reach these goals, the sector will spare no efforts to increase international cooperation, accelerate the construction of infrastructure and technical facilities and give more investment to developing human resources. -Enditem
