10 more seafood processors granted Russian licenses

Ha Noi (VNA) – Ten Vietnamese seafood businesses have received licences from the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Physio-Sanitary Surveillance (VPSS) to export their products to Russia. The newly-licensed businesses brought the number of Vietnamese seafood exporters permitted to ship their products to Russia to 24. Earlier, between September 16-29, VPSS sent a delegation - the third of its kind this year - to inspect Vietnamese seafood processors. Russia is Viet Nam’s fifth largest importer of seafood after EU, US, Japan and the Republic of Korea. The first half of this year saw Russia account for 5.2 percent of Viet Nam’s total seafood export turnover.-Enditem
