25 banks join Smartlink e-pay network

Ha Noi (VNA)- The Smartlink e-pay network made its debut on October 25 with an initial membership of 25 banks. Clients are able to use cards issued by member banks to pay for their shopping and services vie the internet, mobile phones, ATM and shop counters. Of the 25 member banks, 17 are starting off with a daily capacity of handling 300,000 transactions with 3 million cards being accepted at 1,500 ATMs.--Enditem
