Ha Noi (VNA) – The Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) declined 0.67 points to finish at 1,095.53 points by the end of the October 25 trading session.
Close to 12.7 million shares, worth more than 1.3 trillion VND, changed hands.
By closing, 69 shares made gains while 40 declined and 13 remained unchanged.
Blue-chip Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (DHG) was the biggest loser of the day after it fell by 13,000 VND, followed by Kinh Do Corporation (KDC) and Song Da Urban and Industrial Zone Investment and Development (SJS).
Meanwhile, Sea and Air Freight International (SFI), Construction Joint Stock Company No. 5 (SC5) and Imexpharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (IMP) were among shares that recorded gains.
The HaSTC-Index at the Ha Noi Securities Trading Centre jumped 2.25 points to finish at 379.51 points. Around 6.8 million shares, worth 787 billion VND, were traded.
Vinashin Oil and Gas Investment and Transport (VSP) topped the list of movers after tacking 27,700 VND onto its listed price, followed by Sai Son Cement (SCJ) and Song Da 10.1 (SNG).
The Pan Pacific Joint Stock Corporation (PAN) suffered the biggest loss after declining 15,300 VND per unit.-Enditem
