HCM City (VNA) – The Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) declined by 3.5 points to end the October 26 trading session at 1,092.48 points.
Blue-chips Sai Gon Thuong Tin Commercial joint-stock bank (STB) and Financing and Promoting Technology Corp. (FPT) lost 2,000 VND to lead the declining 60 shares.
Close to 12 million shares, worth nearly 1.12 billion VND, changed hands.
Among the 39 gainers, Hau Giang Pharmaceutical (DHG) led the market by tacking 22,000 VND onto its listed price, followed by Sea&Air Freight International (SFI) and Imexpharm Pharmaceutical (IMP).
Meanwhile, the HaSTC-Index in the Ha Noi bourse saw a slight increase of 1.75 points to close the trading session at 381.45 points.
Trade volume and value made a record with 7 million USD shares worth 750 billion VND being traded.
Shares of Song Da groups still led the market with SD7 adding 19,500 VND to its listed price, S64, 10,900 VND, SD6, 10,500 VND and S55, 9,600 VND.-Enditem
