Ha Tay province licensed 115 projects this year

Ha Tay (VNA)- Ha Tay province, located to the west of Ha Noi, on October 26 granted licenses for seven domestic and international investments, bringing to 115 the number of businesses licensed so far this year. Hyundai RNC Ltd. was the biggest with an over 196 million USD project to build an apartment and shopping complex in Ha Dong city. The seven freshly-licensed projects, with a combined investment of 227.52 million USD, are expected to provide jobs for 42,000 workers and contribute hundreds of billions of VND to the State budget each year. The province expects to attract some 16.3 trillion VND from domestic investors this year, or 3.53 fold over 2006, and 1 billion USD in FDI, representing a year-on-year increase of 25.8 percent, taking into account the number of applications on the waiting list.--Enditem
