Laos-Viet Nam trade centre to be built in Vientiane

Vientiane (VNA) – Laos and Viet Nam will invest close to 12 million USD in building a new trade centre in the Vientiane capital. A document of cooperation on the joint venture was signed by representatives of the Viet Nam ’s Ministry of Trade (now the Ministry of Trade and Industry) and the Ana-Chak Trade Company of Laos . Accordingly, the Lao company will share 40 percent of the total investment and the Vietnamese side with the remainder. Construction of the Nongchan Trade Centre will begin next month on a total area of 11,100 square metres.-Enditem
