Viet Nam, Hungary cooperate in agriculture

Ha Noi (VNA) – Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Bui Ba Bong and visiting Hungarian State Secretary for the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development Benedek Fulopp signed a plan of action in Ha Noi on October 29. The Hungarian State Secretary’s visit to Viet Nam from October 28-November 1 was aimed at working out detailed programmes for the Framework Agreements on Agriculture Cooperation between the two ministries signed in May 2004. Earlier the same day, the two sides held talks on cooperation programmes on cultivation, husbandry, forestry, irrigation and fisheries. According to Deputy Minister Bong, Viet Nam has yet to fully tap agricultural resources, so the country needs foreign assistance, especially from countries with developed agricultures like Hungary .-Enditem
