Ha Noi (VNA) – Both VN-Index and HaSTC-Index saw continued fall at the November 9 morning trading session.
By closing, the VN-Index at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) dropped 8.18 points to end at 1,018.29 points with 12 million shares, worth nearly 1.3 trillion VND, changing hands.
The session saw up to 102 shares decline, accounting for 90 percent of shares listed at the bourse, while only 20 recorded gains.
Strong decreases were seen in listed prices of blue-chippers Tay Ninh Cable Tour Company (TCT) (19,000 VND), Binh Dinh Minerals (BMC) (16,000 VND), Hau Giang Pharmaceutical (DHG) (10,000 VND), Sea and Air Freight International (SFI) (8,000 VND) and Viet Lien (UNI) (7,000 VND).
Meanwhile, Construction Joint Stock Company No.5 (SC5) led the list of movers of the day after tacking 10,000 VND onto its listed price, followed by Kinh Do Corporation (KDC), Vincom (VIC) and North Kinhdo Food (NKD).
The HaSTC-Index at the Ha Noi Securities Trading Centre fell 6.27 points to finish at 365.58 points with 3.75 million shares, worth close to 421 billion VND, being traded.
Song Da 7(SD7) was the biggest loser of the day after having 17,800 VND wiped off its listed price, followed by Song Da Simco (SDA), Song Da Consultation (SDC) and Vinashin Oil and Gas Investment and Transport (VSP).-Enditem
