Vietnamese workforce in integration process on discussions

Ha Noi (VNA) – A seminar discussing challenges to Viet Nam ’s human resources after the country joined the World Trade Organisation took place in Ha Noi on November 30 under the auspice of the Viet Nam-Europe Business Forum (VEUBF). The seminar also examined opportunities for Vietnamese workers brought by the country’s WTO membership. At the event, the participants were briefed on European countries’ experiences in dealing with human resources. Close to 70 percent of the Vietnamese workforce and 80 percent of labourers aged from 20 to 24 do not receive any training. Farmers accounted for 54 percent of the workforce.-Enditem
