China, DPRK sign science cooperation agreement

Ha Noi (VNA) - China and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) have signed an agreement on cooperation in science and technology. Under the agreement, inked on December 13 between China's Ministry of Science and Technology and DPRK's National Academy of Science, both sides will cooperate in projects in the areas of agriculture, power generation, software development and medicine, China’s Xinhua news agency reported. After the singing ceremony, China's Vice Minister of Science and Technology, Cheng Jinpei, who is visiting Pyongyang, said China and the DPRK should work together to ensure the implementation of these projects and explore new areas and ways of cooperation in science and technology. –Enditem
