RoK, Indonesia to jointly produce armored vehicle

Seoul (VNA) – The Republic of Korea (RoK) will team up with Indonesia to develop and produce a wheeled armored combat vehicle, Yonhap news agency reported. "The RoK and Indonesia signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the partnership in Seoul on December 13,” the Defence Acquisition Programme Administration (DAPA) in Seoul said in a statement. Jakarta is one of Seoul 's key arms trade partners. The RoK sold seven KT-1 Woongbee basic trainer jets and spare parts to Indonesia in April 2003. In 2006, Indonesia purchased 12 more KT-1s from the RoK, according to Yonhap.-Enditem
