Viet Nam: destination for foreign tourists, businesses

Berlin (VNA) – Viet Nam has become an attractive destination for foreign tourists and business circle, newspapers in Germany said. Viet Nam has succeeded in tourism service and attracted investors, Vietnam Inforthek website said, citing sources from the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism. In the first 11 months of this year, the number arrivals to Viet Nam by aviation increased by 22.5 percent. While in the January-October period, the number of passengers on the Frankurt-Ha Noi and Frankurt-Ho Chi Minh City routes by Vietnam Airlines registered a year-on-year rise of 52 percent. German tourists like to visit the Southeast Asian country, Vietnam Inforthek said, adding that German visitors to Viet Nam this year increased 25 percent over last year. Viet Nam welcomed the four millionth international visitor early December, it said. Together with the increasing number of foreign tourists to Viet Nam , the number of many foreign businessmen inquiring into the market and seeking opportunities for business saw a year-on-year increase of 14 percent, according to Germany papers.--Enditem
