Thai Embassy, expat Vietnamese give money

Ha Noi (VNA) – Thai Embassy and the Thai Community in Viet Nam donated 100 million VND (6,250 USD) this week to the National Fund for Vietnamese Children and the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation. The money was raised on Thailand Day in Ha Noi last month. Vietnamese Ambassador in Canada Nguyen Duc Hung on Dec. 19 also handed the Viet Nam Red Cross Association 270 million VND (16,870 USD) for flood victims in the central provinces. The money was donated by overseas Vietnamese living in Toronto.-Enditem
