Thien Long becomes first major stationery group

HCM City (VNA) – The Thien Long Joint Stock and Trading Co. officially became a major stationery group last week by merging three of its member companies.

The announcement was made at annual national conference of clients held in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi last week.

The Thien Long Stationery Group’s new business strategies include expanding production and business by producing high-quality stationery and by building two plants in the south and the north.
“The group is seeking procedures to get a licence to issue shares to be listed at the HCM City stock exchange,” said Co Gia Tho, chairman of the group’s Management Board.

Last month, the group constructed its second plant in Dong Nai province with an initial capital investment of 150 billion VND (9.4 million USD). The plant will specialise in stationery that incorporates various kinds of clip files.

The plant’s production capacity is estimated to be 200 million items per year and is expected to be operational by May next year.

The corporation plans to build its third largest plant in the north by the first quarter of next year.

Thien Long has exported its products to France , Germany , Sweden , Greece , India and Southeast Asian countries as well as supplying items for domestic customers across the nation.-Enditem
